E Tune or In person

Hey everyone so I need my evo x tuned again because I added some new mods and its sluggish and running a bit lean. I had Chag Tuned do my last tune and it was great. However to do an etune I would have to buy quite a bit of hardware in order to do it. I live about 3 hours from AMS in Chicago where they could tune it in person. Which option would you guys recommend. Let me know if any of you have been to AMS in Chicago and how your experience was.

I was gonna have AMS build and Tune my evo until they told me that they do NOT open source tune. They only use the Cobb AP which was a deal breaker for me. They mainly care about high end cars now a days anyway.
I have a cobb access port that just sits in my glove box rn because my evo is currently open sourced. What makes the Cobb AP a deal breaker in comparison to open source ?
To my understanding, the Cobb just didn't have "ALL" the features available like the open source did. It was a lot easier to tune a simple bolt on car with just the AP alone. When it came to huge all out builds, the open source was a much better and more preferred platform for most tuners.

btw: if you've installed new mods and u noticed that your tune has drifted to the lean side then please refrain from WOT operations until the car has been properly calibrated.
