I'm curious if anyone has had this it is having this problem also? Turns out my 02 dump is hitting its own pipping while engaging in 1st gear causing a rattle? If so, what did you guys do to prevent this? I was thinking of wrapping the dump exhaust with a type of foam tape?

My friend had one and it cracked resulting in all sorts of noises. Check yours over real closely to be sure it hasn't done the same.

Yeah sounds like its cracked to me, I don't get any rattles with mine.

I had this problem thus I got it recirculated. Michael @ ETS hooked me up with it.

The bracket that holds the dump o2 pipe and the pipe itself can come off. Here are some pics from mine.

The brackets can crack off at times.

My MAP dump downpipe was hitting my sway bar. I had to take a propane torch to it and bent it up a 1/4", which was NOT easy at all. It was soo annoying that I almost got rid of it and went recirc.

It still rattles sometimes. I'm still thinking about going recirc, lol

**Update**

the waste gate dump has since fallen off this down pipe completely. I will have to leave it at the shop and have it welded back on. Only this time he will add some extra welds on it.
I was lucky I was idle as this piece literally fell off the car.

I have nothing but great respect for a company like ETS! i called them and they are willing to replace it again if it EVER breaks off again.

So i had my friend weld it back and put it back on for me! we'll see how it holds on and goes. Seems to be much better. feels good to BOOST again! :rock::dancebanana:

were you driving when it fell off?

ETS also told me they are no longer selling the 02 dump eliminator anymore. so whoever has them still, have limited edition versions.
