Would it affect anything if the inlet pipe edge was abit dented......??

It would cost me alot to ship back living in eu..... The fit isnt the issue am worried that the dent at edge of inlet if it will cause some problem... There is no leak though i did test that :)

If it's dented in it might create a TINY bit of turbulence if the air catches on it. I'm not the right kind of engineer to answer that though. Subscribed for answers.
You can see in the pics i still put it in because i thought it wouldnt really cause anything but slight turbulance and i was worried about leak but thats not the case :) cause i tested it.

is the 3.5 that tight in an MR ?? maybe they gave me a 4 inch instead LOLOL its not touching the AC cooler its just really close... the pics are a little misleading.

That small dent won't hurt anything. Things like that are part of the reason I prefer cast end-tanks.
Got a good deal even though i love AMS tbh :) the other issue i had for some reason the top right side 10mm bolt that holds the bumper broke :( but bumper seems fine i need to drill out thread and put a new one soon. Hopefully someone can confirm also that little dent wont harm anything :)

For that tiny of a dent I wouldn't waste the time and energy to straighten it much less send it back.
Thanks :) i agree especially if like me am from the eu which is very expensive to ship back....

Yes I believe you have less space in an MR than GSR, basically 3.5inch goes in tight in a MR and to get in the 4" you may need to trim some things " according to ETS installation post up of a 4" on a MR" lolol

Send that badboy back
:tumbleweed:

Did you not read that the shipping alone would cost me more than a new IC....

And there is no leaking .... what reason would you have me send it back.. if like others have stated.. wont affect anything ?

(Sorry I just said it would cost me alot lol)

installed a ets 4'' on a 2011 mr and didn't have to modify anything, went right in and fit perfect, piping and all. ets definately fabricates good quality parts

I just mentioned it from a installation guide from ETS themselves :) Mine is from EU.... EVO so different market maybe that affects it slightly? dunno lol and also you have to agree it is a tight fit... mine is 3.5" well was suppose to be.. i think its the 4" LOL and its tight its so close to the AC cooler.. i do agree on ETS bieng nice quality :)
