I know that when I was looking into exhaust systems I couldn't find any of the ETS test pipe along with the ETS cat back installed together. So if you are wondering how it sounds....here you go!

Here is my little review.

Sound: AWESOME, it is very deep and with the test pipe it is pretty loud. I get quite a few compliments on the sound. When cruising doing 75+ you can hear a drone, especially when you accelerate. But it's not intolerable.

Performance: With the cat back I couldn't feel much of a difference. When I installed test pipe I felt a lot more power in the 3000+ RPM range.

Appearance: Looks great but a pain in the ass to clean. Make sure you clean you pipes at least 2 times a week to keep them looking good.

Overall: I am very happy with this exhaust, installed easy, and fit the stock pipes with no problem.

I will post pictures up tomorrow if anyone wants to see them! Hope this helps!

Very nice man. Ran into your video earlier today on youtube before you posted it here. Sounds great. Sounds just like my GSR. ETS V2 Extreme, AMS TP & DP.
Doesn't sound muffled. I'm guessing that's also the Extreme, right?
Also, very nice gains.

BTW, what was your baseline?

I'm sure it sounds great in person but this clip sounds pretty bad in my humble opinion.
Well the video was taken with a pretty nice camera, I guess next time I can borrow some studio equipment and record a more accurate sound.:jk:

Lol. It's no fault of your own. It's just the way almost all exhausts sound in these video clips. It's really tough to get an idea of what they sound like in person.

It's very difficult to capture sound accurately with cameras these days. Many have 360 degree sound modes on them which sometimes make it difficult to capture what's in front of you accurately, unless you can manually change it as a setting.

Take for example these vids I shot of my X. First video was taken with my buddy's Canon HD Vixia HF M31 HD camcorder. Second video was taken with my Canon Powershot G11 point & shoot (non-HD) camera. I found that my camera recorded the sound of my X a lot more accurately. The sound on the camcorder was very "raspy" and high-pitched compared with what the car really sounded like in person. Also, you'll notice that in the video taken with the camcorder, that after I would rev the car, the sound just faded out afterwards(sound like the car just dies) as if it were picking up surrounding audio or something.

That's probably a dynamic noise level adjustment feature. Maybe some way to turn it off in camera settings?

Maybe. I borrowed the camera just to shoot it that night and didn't see/hear the results until later at home when I was editing it. If I had known, I would've definitely looked for a setting. Most cameras will let you choose different sound settings.
