Hey guys picking up my 2011 X this Saturday I want to order my exhaust by Sunday I came down to the Greddy Ti-C single and the ETS single 3.5" for the car my plans are to make about 400HP nothing more I would like to make 400Whp if possible with my budget while I'm in school. I just wanted to see which you would recommend? I don't care about how loud it is as long as get the most performance and the least drone. I want to do it testpipe and back don't want to touch the downpipe until I get the money for a tune. And one last question dealership wise most dealers say if you don't touch the downpipe they wont say anything is this true?

Thank you

Oh ok thanks does anyone have any numbers of any of these systems?

not sure what you asking ?

number meaning the Hp/tq gains?

or part numbers?

your not going to see large gains just from adding a CBE and test pipe you will see some but a tune is where you see better gains from your mods.

only GReddy I would get is the Spectrum Elite or w.e which is dual

so go ETS

and no most dealerships say if you dont touch the catalytic converter
:yeahthat: greddy is more if you want to be street legal with db levels and it has the nice burnt tips. There are many other great options for exhaust so dont limit yourself to these 2. As sequence stated... its CBE and not DP down for warranty. However, as you do more research you will notice your warranty is already gone once you really start modding your car.

400 was my goal i set but now that ive started getting parts i see that 400 on full bolt on w/o turbo upgrade is going to be tough. also will be need to be a very aggressive tune. i have kinda leaned away from hp goal and just decide to get all the supporting mod to lead up to turbo upgrade and go from there.

All 3" single exit exhausts will be very close if not the same performance wise. Its just a matter of personal opinion on sound and looks.

Your warrantly isnt automatically void the second the dealer sees an exhaust. Its all a case by case basis. I've had all recalls and some warranty work done on my car with my mods and never had an issue. If my engine blew then sure they wont warranty it but to fix staples in my front seats or replace a dead battery is not an issue since neither are related to my mods.

I would do more research before you toss on a bov. They seem to be more trouble than they are worth so if its not needed with a new turbo I would personally leave the stock one on. Once you get an open intake you will hear the infamous "woosh" sound if thats what you are going for.

Yea the only reason I want the HKS bov is the sound :) I like the sound of the ets 3.5" exhaust. is there anything that sounds similar to that? I also like the greddy I've always had good experience with their products on my other cars.

Thank you everyone for chipping it
