If you arent already a member of SoCalEvo.com - it maybe be easier as "SoCal" is pretty huge and while the only "VALLEY" to me is the San Fernando Valley - you have San Gabriel Valley, Moreno Valley, etc etc etc ...
I'm a local of the SFV and MIGHTTTTTTT be willing to go to a meet- its been years. Most of the time we spend at KT Motoring on Tuesdays these days.
The Empire Center meets back from 04-07 went upwards of 20-25 cars at times.
