That's freaking hot. I can't wait to see it at the Cleveland Auto Show. I may even venture up to Detroit again this year...
WOW. That's just what it looked like in my dreams. :p
butt fugly is not a rival for hotness
EVO = front end inspired by shark
STI = whole body inspired by whale shark

I think all the Subaru Impreza's have been fugly, though I like this hatch (WRX and STI) better than previous Impreza wagons. It's like, I don't care how fugly my car is, it performs. So if it performs, it will be comparable to the EVO.
STI has a better interior...imo

True, but Evo X interior is much improved compared to the 9.

Agree, IMHO it's alot better than the Evos interior and much better than any previous Wrx/Sti :)

Without being biased, I also like it's external look, definitely nicer looking (just like the new Evo 10 compared to past Evos) compared to any previous rex models...

Information I've read so far suggests the new Sti is faster/quicker than the new Evo, our Aust. spec will have 2.5ltr - 224kw - 407nm, with only a 10kg weight increase over the previous model Sti.

USDM and European markets will have the same 2.5ltr as ours, but nor sure about the power and weight figures...??

I believe the JDM Sti 2.0ltr is 225kw - 422nm.

Subaru are also going to release their own version of an SST type trans in around 12 months time - should be interesting and be included in the 1st model update.
Hot Sex! Thats all that can be said about the car :) Def a step up from the 8 and 9 platform

The STI USDM specs are set at 305 hp and 290 lb.ft.

"The WRX STI’s revised 2.5-liter intercooled turbocharged Boxer engine, now with Dual Active Valve Control System (Dual AVCS), produces 305 horsepower (SAE) at 6,000 rpm, a gain of 12 over the previous model. The 290 lb.-ft. torque peak is the same as before but arrives at 4,000 rpm, which is 400 rpm earlier, for better response. Significantly, the more powerful 2008 WRX STI achieves the very stringent Bin 5 Tier 2-Federal (EPA) and LEV2-California Tier 2/Bin 5 emissions certification."

Sounds like a decent upgrade for the STI, looks aside.
Great vid :)

I too would be looking at those 'other' headlights if I were in his shoes LOL :)
reports from people who've had the opportunity to drive it so far are the same as the WRX; very soft with excessive body roll and dive

Really ?? I've read reviews to the contrary....Sti is a great handler compared to regular Wrx, but still compliant enough for comfortable day to day driving, most certainly the set up most people would want :)

Either way, if it is too soft, that's easily fixed :)
