SST does rev match

Also, don't make the same mistake as this driver - never countersteer when ASC is on. Always steer where you want to go and let ASC do the corrections. This is always the fastest way to drive with ASC.

Plus with shifts that quick you'd barely hear a BOV if you installed one.

Dosagex --if it didn't rev match it would wear down the clutch! I rev match every shift, always, so I would hope the automated transmission computer would do it too. :)

good vid!

What is rev match?

(I feel like a newb :( )
In really basic terms -- you rev the engine before you downshift such that the engine RPMs are at the level they will be in that gear before you engage it. When you do this, it allows you to engage the clutch immediately, saving it from wear. It is also the only way to smoothly downshift. Any non-enthusiast that I've ridden in a manual transmission car (well usually pickup truck) just doesn't do this at all, and it's sooo frustrating. It's so jerky and gross sounding when you don't do it.

hey guys, I know i'm new to this forum, but I'm not new to driving. I think you have your rev-match order slightly mixed up... though today with synchronizers it doesn't matter as much, it's kinder to your synchros if you clutch in, rev, then downshift and clutch out. Not saying that you're wrong, just something I picked up along the way... the nicer i can be to my car the better. :)
