Just recently got my 2012 WW GSR when I found one that was on the lot at a local dealership. I was looking for a WW GSR w/ SS and this one happened to also have the LED package as well, so I went with it. Got a few questions about what the LED package was like, so here are the details.

Essentially it is only an interior LED package. Blue LED's over the pedals and passenger floorboard + white LED's for the mirror lights and dome light. The lights are very nice and super bright at night. It really does look nice. Not sure that I would option this in for the price (although after I negotiated the total price for the car it was not that much more). The LED's that they put in are triple LED bars for each location and are very nice don't get me wrong - it's cool - just probably something you could do yourself for less.

I saw it on a 2012 Lancer GT and it was pathetic. They just screwed in an LED bar on the right kick-panel by your foot - not blended in or anything.

Haven't seen it on an Evo though - and prob never will. My sales manager isn't stupid enough to order one for inventory with this option - every customer would say "I don't care/want it" and he'd just lose out every time (like MMCS)

Not the blue floor LED's - they are hooked up like the normal interior lights, so they come on when you exit/enter the car, manually turn on the interior lights, or unlock / lock the vehicle. Of coure the white dome lights and rearview lights can also be manually turned on like normal by pressing in the light.

I belive I saw this option on rhdjapan.com or japanparts.com its one of MANY options that we dont usually have here in the states.

I enjoy the blue/ black colorway as well. Have autometer cobalt digital gauges installed... love the contrast.

Good to see they have options for the dome lights! I have 96LED for the front domes and 72led for the center! It's like daytime!

The STi's came with red footwell illumination as a standard feature. I do kinda miss that. Might add the red.

this is really easy to do on your own

also they added this first on the 2011 Outlander Sport - and since all the new-age Mitsu's are so similar, this is just a basic carry-over

eBay, $28 for led replacements for dome, maps, trunk and license plates, any color you want. Takes 5 min to install. Led strips on eBay, $1.17 shipped each, $6 for a add a circuit fuse and a little wire running for install, put them anywhere you want. What's the price tag on the factory package?

i had these LEDs in all my former vehicles, i liked them at night for when u get that pesky spider or fly that crawls on your leg lol
