I get the impression that the module is tied into the key locks on the two front doors and the trunk.
Oh you mean the transponders? I'm actually looking for the main module that those transponders are connected to. Like when you get an aftermarket car alarm, there is a main module that is connected to the locking system of the car. Or is the main module I'm looking for is the ECU itself?

I need to know because I need to find out the trigger where the Fast Key system detects if the key is at the "ACC" or "ON" position, so I can disable it. So I can lock/unlock the car with the FOB even if the engine is running.

Like I said... pretty sure it's in the trunk, by your battery.. take off those plastic covers and you will see it.

I looked at it, and it's not the module. It's the receiver antenna assembly. I googled it and the the module I'm looking for is the KOS-ECU (Keyless Operation System ECU), which is located under the dash on the right hand side of the steering wheel column.

Thanks for your help anyways. ;)

did you get anyware with the module yet?
Not yet, been busy with work and errands. Will work on this if the weekend clears. It seems like cutting a wire won't do the trick. It needs a circuit that would bypass it and trick the KOS ECU that the engine is off. That's where I stopped at.

Yeah, it's all in the service manual.

i have a buddy that is parting out his car and he's selling me the whole fast key set up but just want to make sure i get everything that ill need to install it on my car so im not having to go and try to find the part on ebay when i can get all of it off my buddy.
