if there was flash it was on camera bounced, off camera diffused or just hella diffused on the camera with like -2/-3 exposure.

Flash or Natural light?

Natural. I don't use my flash often anymore. I like food to look very natural and exactly like the customer will see it before them. Still, it's good to know how to use flash so you can shoot in any environment.
