Works fine for my 08... Mounts on the bottom not the sides like the stock intercooler.

ok just to clear this up...

the intercooler mounts on the bottom and on the sides there are bars that are supported by rubber hangers. on the 08 the bars are straight. on the 2010 one bar is curved because the mount is in a different location.

so yes there is a difference. no a 2010 mount intercooler will not fit a 2008 and vica versa

On a 2008, to fit the 2010 intercooler you need to remove the ballast bracket that holds the stock fmic one.

We just did mine not long ago.
