Not sure if this right place to post. Has anyone use this, I've use it once on my evo and it raise my mpg pretty significantly and performance didn't change. I am just wondering if it's safe or worth using.

Not sure if this is a bot or not. Safe yes, worth using no, it's pointless, and you didn't get improved gas mileage from this. It was in your brain (if you have one and aren't a bot!)

Modern fuels have additives that keep your fuel system clean and basically do what this claims to do =]

I have used this in almost every car in my family. It does a good job of removing deposits from the engine.

However, Redline fuel system cleaner is even better. PEA additives are what make Techron work well, and I have heard Redline fuel system cleaner has an even higher concentration of PEA additives than Techron.

Thats exactly what I use in my car about every 6 months. Chevron is known for being one of the best quality gas stations around so I trust their fuel cleaner actually cleans and isnt colored water like the cheaper brands probably are.

I havent felt any difference or seen an increase in mpg but its a good peace of mind type thing thinking your engine is staying clean from regular use.

I havent notice any diffrence with techron fuel system cleaner... I just assumed its cleaning my fuel system

Just a little background semi education on some of these for you guys. When your looking at products like this break it down to the actual active ingredient, the one that actually does the work. In the case of Techron it's called; polyetheramine or PEA

Once you know that look up the other additives that have higher concentrations of the ingredient by searching the various MSDS data bases. IIRC Techron quit putting PEA in for some reason (Probably cost) so now you'll have to get it in other places.

Keep in mind that ALL modern petrols have some cleaning agent in them. Too much of assorted cleaning agents will make deposits WORSE.

Just use a high grade petrol from reliable sources and don't bother with the expensive additives.
