Ok, so I want to go to stage 2 next week. Let me know what you guys think about my mod list & what you would add or do differently. I just bought a new 2011 GSR & it currently has just over 800 miles. It is my DD & I was wondering if it is ok to start tuning & pushing it at 1000 miles on the odometer. Anyways here is my mod list...

-Cobb accessport
-Injen intake
-Greddy SE exhaust
-Invidia downpipe (catless)
-Walbro fuel pump
-Fuel injectors
-Defi gauges

I am looking to try & get around 350 whp with this setup. I will be getting a protune the same day the mods go on. What else is needed & or what would you change? There is a lot of knowledge on this site & I thank you for your input!

no real reason to upgrade injectors / fuel pump with bolt ons

Except to increase your headroom and give you room to breathe if you have a failure of some kind. No big thing though.

OP-- depends on the Dyno. I have similar monda making 320 on a DD and 365 on a DJ.
Don't bother with injectors if you're staying on stock turbo.

Don't bother with fuel pump if you're staying on stock turbo unless you're making a surge tank... even stock turbo will cause starvation AFTER a long left turn. Take a long left and floor it on even a tiny straight... it'll feel like you're hitting the rev limiter at 5k rpm. Sucks. Probably horrible for the car too.

Now if you throw an FP Green or FP Red into the mix, then yeah, 1kcc injectors and a fuel pump.
no to injen intake... go aem or ams or ets... or even aFe
I think it is going to be a dynapack. Is this a good thing or bad? I am having Adan from Harman Motive (now AQ motorsports) do the work. I have never used a dynapack before & it looks kinda crazy. And to the person above, why no to the Injen intake?

ive read of some people running into problems with them. i will try to dig up the thread because i cannot remember exactly what happened but you can search around.

the other ones i named are extremely reliable products and not too expensive

but its your car, the injen could very well be exactly what you are after.
Interesting... I like the AMS too...They are all good looking for the most part. The Injen one people seem to really like for the sound. That is why I was going to pull the trigger on it.
Harman Motive made an AMS intake replica without a weld (mandrel bent instead of welded together). See if this guy from the former Harman Motive has an extra one laying around. It's literally close to identical to the AMS intake :innocent:
Don't get the injen Intake, that has more bends than the mississippi river.

Alright so I pulled the trigger & ordered everything. I got: AMS intake, AMS downpipe, Greddy SE exhaust, Cobb access port, 1000cc injectors (I know they are not needed but I want an aggressive tune & I plan to continue to build the motor), Walbro fuel pump & I scheduled the tune. Next friday I should be looking good. Thanks everyone for the info!

I will be getting tuned on a dynapack. Are these good? I have never seen one before. Kind of different...
congrats. good luck on the installs.
