HELP: Styrofoam toolkit has been melting on my stock 2011 Evo X MR

As the title says, I decided to check under the carpet and found that the middle part of the styrofoam where the tools are located have simply MELTED, including my safety triangle which is mandatory here in Belgium. See pictures attached.

What do I do? Do I buy some kind of metal plate to stop this from happening? I really don't know where to start with this mess.

You probably have aftermarket muffler and possible its too close to the trunk floor than original and possible not insulated as well as the OEM, so just look underneath and see if there is enough gap for air to freely go through and see if there is enough space to install some kind of shield, other wise possibly it could caused fire...
