I did it on my ralliart. You have to drill one hole on each side of the trunk ... They are pre marked. It was a snap and fitment is Oem.

Question for anyone who has done this. Has anyone with a low rise spoiler on their 2010 evo x replaced it with a high rise spoiler? Are the mounting holes the same? how is the fitment?

You are asking if the SSS wing will fit on other models if I understand you correctly. Im not entirely sure. All the swaps Ive seen have been with the trunk as well. What color is your car? All trunks on the Lancers are the same.. from the DE's to the MR's.
The Low rise spoilers have the same holes as the SSS Spoilers, you just need to drill two more holes.

yea i dont want to switch out the trunk. Mine is a 2010 GSR Wicked White. The pic in my avatar is identical to my evo (the avatar pic had way cooler background. The trunks are all the same. Go outside and open your trunk. Look where the two mounting bolts are and in between them off to the side is an indented circle where the other hole goes.

Every single trunk for these cars is the same. You can swap them interchangeably from a Lancer DE to a Lancer GTS to a Lancer Ralliart to an Evolution X GSR to an Evolution X MR, MR-Touring, SE... you name it. If it's the same body style (not Sportback and not an Outlander or Eclipse, etc) then you can swap the trunk. If you want to go wingless, swap trunks with a DE of the same color and you'll save yourself a boat load of :$:
The OEM trunks are also available in many combinations, I ordered a brand new OEM one with no spoiler and the FAST key button hole. I could've ordered it without the button hole, with spoiler holes, etc.

I have heard, and I would need someone to confirm, that the factory SSS equipped vehicles have more trunk bracing under the deck.
