im in the market for CF hood vent and scoop. i did some research but could not find ones that fit like oem and not sure if i can still use the shields after i install....what if what gets in if i cant use the shields? what is a good product that is like a oem fitment.?

You won't find any that fit good or look good that don't cost as much as a hood.
My opinion your best off to buy a hood, then sell your old one to someone with a regular Lancer. You'll be ahead on $ this way;

MAPerformance has these hoods pretty cheap and they are nice

If you want some better cooling get a center vent, then remove the dumb vent backings that just block things off for the front two.

Unless you submerge your engine in water your fine. I ran it that way at the track in the rain, and have left it that way since, glad I did it.

Seriously not even the expensive ones fit for shit. If you don't do an entire hood you might as well just get some eBay ones.
