Q: How do I become an Approved Merchant?
A: In order to advertise your products or services on this website, you must apply an be approved. If you are approved, there are monthly fees depending on how you plan on advertising. Advertising your product without Approved Merchant status will result in the deletion of your posts and possibly removing you from this website.
A "basic" package grants you permission to post about your products and services, and discuss them in the forums.
From there, you can add the following options:
-Banner ad rotation: Submit a banner ad (with a resolution of 468x60) along with a URL and a tagline, and it will go into rotation at the top of the forum.
-Approved Reps: Allows you to choose forum members to represent your business on the forums, and act as a liaison to help you run your business on the forums.
To apply to be an Approved Merchant, please email us with the subject "Merchant Application". Be sure to have to following information handy:
-Business name
-Forum name
-Website URL
-Name of owner and point of contact
-Tax ID / Copy of business license
-Phone number(s)
-Fax number(s)
-Copy of a Utility bill or proof of address
-email address
-paypal address
-street address
-Photo of business owner and/or forum representative(s)
-2 industry business references (please provide contact information for them)
-Do you currently sponsor any other forums? If so, which?
-Tell us about your company.

"Proof of address? Photos? Do you really need that? It just seems a bit overboard."
While you may view it as odd, past experience has given us good reason to require it.
