How to flush oil cooler?

Don't - if you leave just a few tiny specs they can ruin an entire new motor, it's not worth the risk.

Can you eloborate? Spec of what? So don't flush after the short block blew up? Won't there be metal shavings in there?

Specs of metal i am going to assume. And no, it took me like 10 times of reading his post too, but dont even flush it he is saying. Buy a new one, because even if you leave a few specs of metal in it by accident, it could ruin your new motor.

Throw it in the garbage. Get a new one. 500$ will get you a nice brand new oil cooler with all the lines.

You obviously replaced the oil pump too?

how did you know you needed to flush your oil cooler?

Yes don't flush buy a new one.
Any bearing material or debris that's in there can break loose after your new build and damage the engine. Now you can clean our oil pumps because they do break open so you can get every bit out of them. I have pics somewhere of an open pump.

Do not reuse after engine failure. I may have a stock one that I can sell for a good price. PM if you'd like.

Yeah - just replace with new and new hoses.

same goes for oil pump, and oil pan

I did those. And I order the new MAP oil cooler kit! Looks sik! I think Hollywood and I r the only ones with it right now

Ahhh i cant wait till you get your car back... I may order a FP red, but fuck, if i order it i should just give it to you and see what we can make on your car

Haha I know. Everyone wants me to ditch the stocker on my built motor I wish I could rationalize it
