Anyone install or thinking about installing led lights inside the car? I think it would be really hot with blue or red leds under the dash and somewhere in the back lighting up the floor of the car.
Ive been in the scion with it and love the look. Black interior with blue leds in the footwells is amazing. Does the Evo come with any dead switches on it that you can turn into a light switch for the leds?
I want to make it look at factory as possible.

What are your opinions, experiences with interior lights?

I used cold cathode lights in my last car, and they are amazing. long tubes that don't heat up, and use very little power.

Oznium.com - great for lights. If not to buy from them, then just to check out whats available.

I already know where I am wiring it to. You know the 2 blank buttons next to the AWC switch on the center console? One of those.

I do like the touch in the Lexus's. Standard white light, very low lit.

I have that option in my tc that I'm about to trade in. It's convenient when you're looking for stuff in the dark, and I guess some people like the look. I do like the illuminated cup holders though. Very handy at night, and it makes water bottles look awesome :rock:

It depends how you hook it up but I beleive its like the new Sti it turns on when you open the door. Which in my book seems good.

Cool pics. I think the lights look hot. Nothing real bright. Just a subtle red/blue to light up the floor. I keep two flashlights in my car for when I drop change and small junk. Having lights would make my life a lot easier plus add that custom look. It would be cool to have a toggle switch that looked factory instead of the lights just turning on when you open the door.

Blue > Red, theres enough red light in that car already, adding another one is kinda over kill IMO, the blue looks pretty good though
