I bought some FIC 1100's used and they didn't come with a data sheet. How big a deal is this? Will it realistically matter, or should I be worried?

I could either get them tested by FIC, or simply buy a brand new set and not risk it. Just not sure. Any thoughts?

I'm running 93 octane actually. Just wanted the head room for extra fueling later on.

Anyway - thanks, so I am guessing the injector order doesn't matter (i.e. highest flow injector in cylinder 1). I have some data from Merlin's guide on the 93 octane numbers, so I'll start with those.

Thanks! :shades:

Awesome, thanks Clipse - those are quite a bit lower than the values from Merlin's guide; guessing you've had some time to refine things a bit more for 93 octane. I'm following you're helpful tutorial to get them all set this Friday.

Dumb question on adjusting my existing AFRs after I get my injectors all set up: I just set up the injectors per your How-To to get idle and cruise all set up. At that point, I go and touch up my WOT AFRs by doing 3rd and 4th gear runs, logging AFR, and then adjusting it to match my previous AFR values (the ones I have now are good on my DW800's per Hollywood - so these values would be a good first attempt?) ?

Will I necessarily need to touch my timing or mivec maps at all?

One note is I am having it tuned next Wednesday, but I'd like to get it somewhat tuned myself so I can learn this stuff. Let the tuner iron things out after that considering I will be no expert any time soon.

Thanks Golden. I installed FIC 1100's today (used, no instructions), and there seem to be some conflicting ideas on where to start.

No Problem.

And I should note that I've used my settings on cars with many different setups, and it seems to work well for any intake (scaled properly).

Sometimes people don't have their intake scaled properly and end up with odd injector numbers because they are compensating for the intake.

Could be my situation, but my intake does use the stock MAF adapter. I suppose it's possible the different filter might impact the scaling, but I can't imagine it'd be that far off.
