Does anyone know if the high end navigation system has any sort of port for installing an iPod adapter? I know it says something about Sirius, any one make an adapter that plugs into the Sirius port? My Chrysler system has a Sirius port and I found an iPod adapter for it that not only controls the iPod from the stereo but also shows song/artist info on the display. It would be awesome if something similar was available for the Evo X system.

Alternatively does anyone know if the hard drive based system supports AAC audio? And if so how do you load it onto the hard drive? The only mentions I've seen about loading music onto the drive is by ripping the original CD in the cars player. I have a lot of music I've purchased off iTunes which would not work with that setup. However I could easily decrypt them using QTFairUse6 and load them onto the internal hard drive if that is an option.

They support hooking up an iPod, but when I looked at the solution, they are basically just using standard inputs, not an iPod specific input. It doesnt not look like there is anyway to control the iPod from the deck, which is kind of disappointing. However, I may be wrong, but I will know more later this week.

I am uncertain about getting audio on to the drive at this point. One solution may be to burn a CD with your music, then see if it imports it. Not ideal though.

I'd love to hear more when you know more.

Also, with the hard drive system, does the hard drive come out? Or is it built into the deck. If it's removable then you might be able to hook it to a PC and lod songs on it that way.
