hey all just got a new evo gsr at 12k miles and wanted to know if this is normal or do I have something I need to fix?

When I floor the gas on first and reach the rpm right before the red line I step on the clutch, I release the gas and shift to second then I release the clutch as soon as I do that(no jerking here) I floor it again and the car jerks badly( as I hear a sound of it biting). Sometimes the car jerks for 2 second and lose power but then once that stops it accelerate back again normally.

Am I not shifting right do I need to slip the clutch after the shift to 2nd and step on the gas gradually and more smoothly for that not to happen? or is there something wrong with my new car?

Sounds like you're dumping the clutch on every shift?
yes after 2nd gear I raise my foot of the clutch pretty quickly when its fully raised I hit the gas hard down to the floor. I dont experience the jerk after I let my foot of the clutch completely but only after pressing the gas down quickly . That was my question if thats a problem with me driving it wrong or something wrong with the car.

If its a problem with me driving it wrong should i let the clutch up slowly and press on the gas down fast (therefore slipping the clutch and easing the throttle to not experience the jerking I get after i shift to second gear) I mean its not regular racing jerk I feel like the transmission bites on the engines hard same sound you get when you dump the clutch trying to launch it wrong from 0 .
