Is it safe to flash the Stage2+HKSPF 93 Octane LWG map without a turbo back installed? Also does the boost pill have to come out?

Stage 2 is considered safer than stage one by many on this forum. I believe the reasoning is that the Mivec tuning on stage one is really agressive. There's a link on here somewhere that goes into a little more detail i believe. Boost pill should come out if you are not achieving your target boost.

He may be referring to 2011 models where he actually did the maps. If you have a 2008 - 2010, there may be different advice.

Every car is different so regardless of which map you decide on, do some logs so you know it is safe. That's the only way to be sure.

I don't think it's safe my friend, you need a turbo back before you run the stage 2 cobb program or you may end up into something in the near future. I don't thnk you want to go that route? Follow the map on cobb or get a tune.

About the pill, you can, so you can get the full power of stage 2 set up, but before you do that make sure you have the right set - up my friend. Check the cobb tunning website everything is there on how to remove it step by step or call COBB

:+1: Stage 1 is the worst, way too much knock on those maps.

But run some logs and see what readings you get on YOUR car, if your knock isn't bad then theres no problem

yeh, im running the stage 2+ sf with the SF intake and only a HFC(100cell). Its much better/safer than the stage 1 map. And if you do, take the pill out
