Hey guys,

Figured I'd introduce myself. I just recently got a deal of a lifetime on an Evo X 2012 MR, it's actually stick shift and not auto :) best part. It's only got 5k miles on the clock, and only a few mods to it. Besides all the crazy ones that are included on the car.

mods
-5% tint all around minus the windshield.
-All season tires on black rims, car is Wicked White.
-Angel Eyes headlights.

that's about it so far and more to come once I actually go get the car tonight after work. I don't have any pictures till later tonight so I will post those up as well.

Looking forward to being a part of the community!

Need more info and pictures. What part of the world are you from? In the US, MR's aren't manuals.
Sounds like you got the gsr se. Not an mr. But either way congrats
my b, i'm from willoughby hills. northeast ohio. i don't have any pictures of it right now, picking the car up tonight after i get out of work.

i was told it's an MR that was a demo car and that it's stick shift.

is there something on the car that i can look at that confirms that it's an MR? (you know besides the MR on the back of the car?) I also looked it up and earlier 2012 models said to have come in manual before they switched to the paddle shifters.
VIN should give you the neeetty greeetty. :nerd:
Doesn't seem right... are you sure its not a GSR with the MR badge on it?

Hope that's not the case if they made you pay the price of an MR :X

But either way congrats!
yea how bout you tell us how much you paid... then we can decide if its a GSR or MR
2012 with 5,000 miles? what are demo cars used for? i agree with the MR/GSR confusion, unless they had some kind of SE package no one knew about.

paddle shifter would be the definitive feature. maybe the trim around the grill too (chrome=MR).
Its a GSR, not an MR.

Regardless, congrats on purchase! :)
I don't know if you guys want to know how much I paid for it. Let's just say I didn't get it from a dealership. Got it off my buddies fiance for practically free :p, 14k flat. I'm getting the title for it tonight and we're signing it over on Monday.

I tried texting her for the vin so I can confirm if it's an MR or GSR. She told it was a fully loaded MR and that she bought it new with 150 miles on it, it was someones demo car at a Mitsu dealer. I asked her if it's stick or auto and she said stick. I even went further because she's a female and asked if it has 3 pedals or just 2, and she said 3. Sooo....I get to see the car tonight. Can't wait for work to be over.

I bought my MR for a little over 60,000$. I bought my Lancer DE USED with 55,000km for 14,000$ -.-.. bastard lol.

It is a GSR, I assure you that unless the original owner did some wacky stuff to the car.. that it will have two pedals, two paddle shifters and P, R, N, D not a stick. Either way, nothings wrong with having a GSR bud! If you like driving stick.. its the way to go!

yeah haha, that's why i didn't want to post the price on it until you guys asked :p

i can't justify owning a sports car with an automatic. I need it to be manual lol.
Nice, Welcome to the forums.
thank you thank you. my mind is already racing on what to do to the car once I get it. Can't decide between exhausts, they all sound so good haha.

edit: i wish the akrapovic one was a little bit more affordable, i got a budget of 4k to work with and that sucker would cost a little bit over half of that. sonuvabitch.

Your post, sir, is full of fail...

maybe reading comprehension is an issue in your life. I think I mentioned 3-4 times why I didn't have pics up "yet".
if it is badged as an MR, but it's a stick, and that cheap... please tell me you ran the VIN and carfaxed it. It would be tragic if this ended up being a Lancer GTS that is body modd'd and re-badged, etc.

Congrats if it's exactly what you want though!
Dose it have a large wing spoiler or a lip spoiler if it has a lip spoiler it has to be a MR unless they took off the wing spoiler.

If it has a large wing spoiler it’s a gsr, surly this car is the only stick The MR is auto

I know by working for Mitsubishi I see a lot of the evos come in and that is what they look like stock. Unless your from a different country
