I recently purchased my WW 2011 GSR used and when i picked up the car the owner stated that he purchased the full cold air intake but didnt install it all because you would have to take off the front bumper. Is this correct? Here are the pics of what he sent me home with and whats installed.... if it works, I havent ever posted pics before

are you asking if that is a cold air intake? If so, no its a short ram possibly ultimate racing or ams brand but brand doesnt particularly matter.

also if your untuned i suggest you put the stock stuff back on, looks like you have most of the parts to do that or even better have the person you bought her from put it back on, its not exactly safe to run aftermarket intake untuned.

what else do you need to know? that will help us to help you cause your a tad bit vague.

How big of a pain is it to remove the front bumper? How long should i expect it to take to install the cold air extension?

long as you have a jack/jackstands and a flathead screwdriver not too long. Its a pita the first time but gets easier once the clips have been loosened up. Extension will need screwdriver (look at what type your clamps need) and thats about it.

Id say no more than 2 hours start to finish.

Great, I have a small floor jack but I need to get some jack stands, I figure it would be a good time to do my rally armor flaps too, I appreciate your guys input, I'm new to the Evo world, have wanted one since before they came to the states but finally got it last week, every time I drive it I fall in love with it all over again. Again, thank you

I'm not sure how it would work, I downloaded the install directions from AMS and the first step is to remove the bumper, I would rather not have to do it but without having a lift it will probably be easier to remove the bumper than to try to slide under it to reach up in
