Hey all,

This just started happening about a week ago. After a good drive and the car is warm, there is a faint clunking/knocking sound when turning the steering the wheel 5-10 degrees right or left. It also occurs while going slowly(about 5-10mph) and the wheel being held straight. Not sure what it could be as I've verified the tie rod ends have no play... but I was wondering if it was perhaps the bushings in the rack and pinion. It seems to be coming from that general vicinity of the car (front right of engine bay) but I can also feel it in the steering wheel.

I was curious if these are a viable replacement: https://www.suspension.com/superpro/spf3731k

I've found old threads but no one really answered it once it was resolved. Hoping some of you may have some insight.

Thanks in advance!

You check to make sure everything else is tight without play? A low speed clunk could be a lot of things, including a CV joint.
