I was doing a boost leak test in my 08 GSR. I have found a tiny leak at the AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator nut (the one used to adjust pressure). The aem regulator cames with my MAP AFPR kit I have installed recently. Is such leak expected? Could be a damaged regulator?

We have made the test with up to 26psi.

Thank you,
Ziki

Will such design flaw (considering that link info is correct) cause fuel pressure fluctuation? I had tuned my GSR for 11.5-11.3 AFR in my city (350m high), then a few days later, I have raced at sea level, which was giving me 10.6-11.0 AFR.

If this a design fault, wouldnt we have heard more about it in this forum?

Btw, I have FIC 1100, Walbro Intank (UR Pump kit), AMS Fuel Rail, K27 Anti-Surge-Kit.

more likely that the race heated up the engine and caused it to run richer.

the leak whilst annoying, wouldn't change the AFR's that much...

mine is leaking as well... i guess once I get that HEXSEAL nut to fix it, then i can see if anything changed :)

any idea of the right part number?

No, I willhave to take off the lock nut on top of theafpr and bring to get measured in order to find the right part #.

I won't have time until next week so if anyone else finds it let us know !

maybe AEM changed the design, anyone want to go sign upto their forums and put a post in that thread saying they dont work?

ok I think its 10-32, i measured the pitch of the thread and there seemed to be slightly more than 1 per millimetre.

so 32 threads per inch seems about right.
