Wait why wouldn't your car hold up? With your power you'll top out 5th and just ride it out.

I can't see you actually hitting top speed, but my math may be totally fucked up. Say you hit 115mph or something in the 1/4 mile... I mean, you're going to hit a full mile really fucking quick after that, and our top speed is going to come pretty damn slow with our shitty 5th gear.

But, my math is terrible.

If you're hitting 115 trap in the quarter mile on a built FP black setup, something is very, very wrong.

Stock turbo stock block is good for 110-115mph in the quarter... and that tiny turbo is not praised for its drag strip worthiness.

Top speed, gear limited at what, 8k rpm, is somewhere in the 160's? I'd say hitting 160-170 is no problem given a quarter mile trap speed of 125-130.

Derek Ill leave you in the dust 550whp will be hard to catch.. I know be my DD tune is 90whp less and its a huge diffrence lol

as for the 115mph LOL Frankiago who said I did that? Hotdog was just saying as a random number but in the 1/4mile in sure ill be 125mph or something

Don't plan on keeping up with the GT500's and Vette's. Those are animals of a different breed, perhaps if this run was on dirt or snow you might be the pack leader but in straight lines... well its all about fun anyways.

Where abouts in Ontario is this? Maybe il come and join.

Hot diggity dog based his math on hitting 115mph in the quarter mile, making the last stretch to 160mph a lengthy, tons of drag affair for that extra 45mph in 3/4 of a mile...

I was simply iterating the fact that you'd be more likely to be spending that 3/4 of a mile going another 30-35mph. That's nothin.
