I was wondering if someone could help me, ive never had this problem before. Drove 12 hours from Edmonton to BC, the MMCS head unit was fine, could play movies, sound worked etc.
Ive been in BC a couple days now, all seemed fine but this morning I tried to play some music and noticed that the sound no longer works. I made sure it wasnt muted.
Movies, music, beeping sounds all do not work now. Any ideas?
Ive already checked the connections to the Showbox jiofi.local.html tplinklogin head unit through the dash, those all seem to be good.

It either works fine when I start the car or doesn't play at all.

Hello! I have the exact same issue with my 2015 Lancer. Curiously, slamming the rear left door will bring the sound on! Punching lightly the speaker in the said door works also! I removed the lining and there is no short to the speaker itself, it's well connected!
After these years, did anybody find the cure?

Hello everyone,

For me everything worked normal until 4 months ago when i got Covid.
My Mistubishi lancer was parked for almost 2 months and battery did drain in that time. i did recharge battery and after that i have problem with Audio, when i start engine there is music for about 2 mins and then there is some cracking sound ( like unplug AUX from PC speakers ) and music stop ( there is no even bip sound when you press something on MMCS).

Yesterday i came to my car turned it on ( but not engine ) when i recived phone call , point is i was talking on my phone over 10 mins and music was in background all time without any problems, but as soon as i started engine it happen again( cracking noise and music dissapper).

Anyone have any idea why its happening like that ?
I read somewhere that it could be amp overheating , but I believe that overheating problem would happen no matter if engine is off or on.

Edit: Today it just started working normal without any issue. Didn't touch anything ..
