Hi All,
Need some advise... Just got my SST transmission replaced at 40k kms on the ODO and it is still stock. How do you break-in the new transmission (shifting mode, for how many kms and etc...) ? Is it best to let it shift in Normal-Auto or SSport-Manual shifting? What RPM's to manual shift while break-in? I noticed Normal-Auto shift around mid 2k RPMs.

I don't want my clutches to slip in Normal in the new transmission...searched to see if there are similar threads, but didn't find the break-in part.

Thanks in adance

wait what, I thought you have to do a teach in process?
im getting mine back from Kozmic pretty soon and some people are telling me a teach in is necessary
A Teach-In on ONLY needed when there are new parts to be adjusted to (such as new clutches) or something has worn abnormally.

So if I drive SSport-Manual from day 1, should be no problem? since less slip and hard clutch grab is always good right?
Standing starts will have the same amount of clutch "slip" in any mode and every time you move the car from a stop it goes through the same slip process.

It's much more robust that you think.
