This morning as I left home to come into work, I turned on my stereo as usual and waited for Sirius XM to acquire the signal. It acquired the signal but I heard no sound. I then naturally checked the volume level which was also correct. I also checked the sound settings and found no problems. Then I tried cycling through different audio sources (FM, AM, USB, etc.) and still had no sound. I tried powering on and off the stereo several times but it made no difference. I had total control and could see everything fine on the stock head unit but could not hear anything from the speakers. I had no problems with my audio yesterday evening.

After I arrived at work, I turned off the car and then turn on acc power and still the same thing. I have yet to disconnect the battery but just thought I would check first for any thoughts/suggestions. I have the Rockford Fosgate audio system with the 6 disc changer head unit.

I am going to my dealership this Saturday for them to swap out this unit with the MMCS so I can mention it then as well if it is still as issue.

My other questions, which I did search for, but couldn't find immediate answers are, why isn't the procedure on how to setup launch control in the MR with TC-SST not listed in the manual? I have found plenty of information on how to launch but was just curious why Mitsubishi doesn't have it listed.

The other question is in regards to Normal, Sport, and S-Sport modes. I didn't see an answer in the manual again but I thought I read something about these modes online a while back. When driving the car in manual (sportronic) mode where you control the shift points, does having the TC-SST in normal, sport, or s-sport affect manual mode and if so, in what way?

Thanks in advance!

No audio

Hi i've experienced same no audio sound comin from speakers but headunit is working, as well as it's navi. This happened on a very cold day -30 here in canada. After i warmed the car and prked in an indoor heated parking it worked!! Probably suspected frozen sub or amplifier or a fuse that's dying...:wtfsign:

My MR is far from stock but I can def feel a difference when Im shifting in Normal mode vs S-Sport mode. Normal mode shifts like there is no sense of urgency. S-Sport makes me feel the shifts and its much more aggressive. Sport mode is in the middle. Thats with me manually shifting and when its in auto.
I was protuned by Cobb but I imagine the same goes with stock, correct me if Im wrong.

I believe the shifts are faster and clamping forces are higher as you go up in mode.

I have wondered why launch control is not mentioned and figure it has to do with liability issues.
Exactly right on both counts.

Also you mention you are not getting any sound on Sirius... is it because your free subscription ran out?

I have problem with my speakers as well. When playing cd's only right side of speakers work. When I switch back to radio every speakers works perfectly fine. Sometimes when in cd mode while driving and drive over a bump left side of speakers work briefly til I hit another pot hole/bump and left side stops working. Wiring I am assuming. Any input?
