you will have people lining up to trade you your wingless for a winged trunk. Seriously, most of us try and get rid of them. I would only buy an evo without a wing
I bought my evo used and the guy sold the spoiler, so when i bought the car i purchased an ABS plastic one and had it painted to match the car. Looks great and unique because its all one piece and its solid blue (no black plastic on the underside)
I like the way the car looks without it. But I prefer it waaaay more with the (large)spoiler on it. It's just so essential in the whole "iconic" look of the Evo. Same with the STi.
I like seibon csl style trunk better than original do luck, call me crazy but it looks way better with bigger/taller lip than on do luck
but than again I see my car with the wing and there is no way Im going wingless
I like the subtle lip on the do luck and it sticks out just enough to be noticed. Subtlety is important to me as well as quality and coordination. You'll see what I mean when I finish my build.
This car goes from badass to class just by removing the spoiler. I prefer it for now it is the iconic rally car thing, not to mention it blocks half the lights flashing in my rear view mirror at night.
i noticed this as well. it was pretty nice but i pulled my wing cause it adds so much class i love it. woman in the streets freak in the sheets!:hitit:
She has the factory trunk lip, there are four holes also were I did install a spoiler, so that'll prob de-Tere people. But that's a simple fix with a good body guy..
I took that big thing off and went wingless, looks alot better to me. And I can actually look in my rear view, comfortably, without having to duck to look underneath the wing to see clearly lol...
I feel it deters the "Misc Police Tax Force" collection as well.
