Porsche.. I now drives me crazy.

The DC auto show blows... we get shafted... most of the cars are rolled in from dealers, and the booths are not set up by the manufacturer or maned by them. Mostly local dealerships.

Yep. The last two years it's been really shitty. I get bored within 15 minutes of being there. This year I'm going to try and see the BRZ/FR-S... Other than that, nothing excites me.

BRZ looks good, Scion has iQ, no FR-S and gives you a blank stare if you ask about it.
Evora does not look like it can actually fit 2 people in the back seat, Veloster looks interesting for a DD and yeah, that's about it. For those who go, say hi to my cars in the SCCA display.

Ah bummer, they don't even have the coveted FR-S there? iQ.... Is it big enough? :freak:

Nope. The BRZ is roped off, but depending on how busy the Subaru folks are, they are letting people sit in it.

If you like and can fit in a Smart, then yes. Otherwise, no.

:yeahthat:

there only like 2 important car shows in the US. the rest are just low-level marketing
this

Mistu pulled out of the Houston auto show last year here. I was bummed because Mitsu would have sent me, but in the end I don't blame them. It really made little sense to spend the money to go, and corporate told us they rather use that money on rebates/APR incentives - which have been super strong the past few years and I'd say definitely helped sales

Ah okay. I'm sure they had the STi sedan again too. My buddies were ribbing me for not getting that instead of the X. :ghey:

Media preview (which I have passes for, WOOT!) for the Chicago Auto Show is the 8th, so Mitsu probably chose to focus on that over DC (Mitsu will be at Chicago).

So I go over to the BRZ that's roped off and the lady lets me in. I scope out the car and sit in it for a few minutes before going over to her and saying "hey that's a nice interior, might have to get this as a daily and drive my EVO on the weekends" and she says "heh heh, the evo those are goin extinct, those are history heh heh, this will be more fun to drive"

Wanted to slap her with my cock. And then do other things. Anyways! Nice to know what clueless bishes think of the EVO
