Dumb question maybe, but does anyone know how to remove the studs in the OEM CMC so that I can mount it to the Magnus plate? Do I need to grab the stud with pliers and twist, or pound them out with a hammer? Just wondering if anyone knows before I start tearing at it. THanks!

I'm not talking about the ones in the firewall, I'm talking about the ones in the actual CMC itself. Two studs need removed and replaced with screws that Magnus supplies to attach it to the adaptor plate.

They have to screw off somehow but they're a freaking bitch to get out.

studs usually can be removed with the double nut method. Thread two nuts onto the stud, use two wrenches to tighten them together(against each other, not down to the base of the stud), then while twist the bottom nut counter-clockwise to back the stud out of its hole.
