:wallbash:probably a stupid question but don't care. Will the larger diameter on the intake side(lower ic outlet) on the mishimoto evo x ic connected to the stock ra pipe cause any negative effects.I installed the intercooler and that son of a bitch stock intake pipe was too long thus requiring the stock ic to be put back on.Just wonderin'.

Any opportunity you can get to swap out the LICP, do it. The OEM RA lower pipe is restrictive because not only is it smaller in diameter, but it has a "dent" or bend in the piping that doesn't allow full air flow. Even an OEM EvoX LICP is great for the stock turbo and even a stock X turbo.

Just get some used EVO x piping and you'll be set.. All the others just seem a bit of overkill unless you're going BT...

And the crimp in the RA pipes is pretty bad, def needs to be pulled..it's obvious they were using it as a performance choke point. So it needs to go!!
