GIMP is decent, and has a lot of user contributed plugins.

Yeah, but i am moving away from pirated software completely, and CS4 costs more than it is worth to me.

I use Photoshop CS4, Photoshop Lightroom for edits and post processing.

Photomatix is awesome for HDR too!
