Thanks dude. I just stuck a gopro on the panel below the steering wheel. If you look carefully in the video, you can see it behind the G-meter. Videos were synced in Premier Elements.

As far as meaninful power mods, 340/340 with full bolt ons and a tune. Meaningful track upgrades: Ohlin's RT coilovers, upgraded rear sway, ST43 pads with RT700 fluid, old set of RE71R tires.
Nice, I have a MR with full bolt ons minus a dp, kW clubsports, front and rear sway, st43pads and projectmu 335, I'm still on re11s though. Still finalizing my tune with Chet, can't wait to hit the track with more power.

Great driving- love the foot cam - Those RE71R tires are no joke!
They are definitely great, but they wear out fast! This is 8th track day, around 3000 miles, and I'm almost to the wear bars. I wonder how they would feel in the wet at this point - in the beginning they were grip monsters in the wet as well as the dry.

Sounds like a similar setup to me. You will have a blast for sure. Plus, the MR doesn't have an utterly useless 5th gear like the GSR. Unless I get a clear run coming out of a corner, I am a sitting duck if the straight uses 5th gear.

Thanks. I agree on the 5th gear front, it seemed like the acceleration really dropped when you shifted to 5th. The MR 5th is interesting because its about 1 to1, but the diff is a higher ratio than the gsr so it lands in between the GSR 4th and 5th.

I learned stick on an old ass camry with shot syncros. It was 15 years ago but it's a habit I never dropped.

Plus, you don't wanna be granny shiftin not double clutchin like you should. :D

Have you driven on the re71r's in warm/hot dry conditions yet? Wondering how heat tolerant they are on a heavy car.
