Ok originally, I planned to strip the wheels and then polish and recoat with a clear.... Well long story short its gonna take to much time! So now I need to pick a color to powdercoat the wheels.

Weds SA-70's

I have a WW car, blacked out headlights, tints 35%, APR VG can't decide if I am gonna put that back on yet. I like to keep it simple but clean.

The powdercoater uses Tiger coatings. There are so many damn colors I can't decide. They all look similar but slightly different.

Does anyone have pics or suggestions of exact colors to help me out. I'm afraid if I just shut my eyes and slam my finger down on one I will not like the color once it's on my wheels!!!

Thanks

Yes because a certain color won't look the same on different wheels :freak:

He's got a white Evo, I got a white Evo.

He has 9 spokes I have 10 spokes.

At least what I posted will give him a better idea. It's better then someone saying get blue, red, etc.

Thanks for the video!

Yea I am kinda decided on hyper silver or dark bronze. On the SA-70's you think that either would look ok?

I agree wheels design is a factor, Id really like the whole car to just look smooth, not too flashy. It's my DD so I try to keep a low profile and run a nice setup.

Red is red and blue is blue no matter what the wheels design is. Obviously his wheels won't look like mine because of the different spoke design but that has no effect on color. It's close enough to give him an idea of colors. I'd say go for bronze, that's a nice color on the WW especially if you like the lower profile look!

This color is called "sunken treasure". I need to find a suitable color from tiger coatings to match this. I think it looks great. Maybe, do a metallic bronze with a high gloss clear acrylic?
