So I'm in the market for new injectors and fuel pump and I'm thinking about the FIC 900's and an Aeromotive 340, i tried looking it up but couldn't really find a direct answer. I'm just wondering for those that run either how they like them and what needed to be done in order for the install. i.e. what else did you have to purchase in order to install the 340 and is it worth purchasing the plug and play kit along with the injectors. I know aeromotive has been around for a long time and really havn't heard anything negative about them, just wondering if its the same feedback with the evo x.

Thank you.

I'm pretty sure the 340 will over run the stock regulator. As for the injectors I got the PNP harness so I didn't have to screw with hooking up the new pigtails.

yea thats what i was actually thinking about today. I'm trying to decide on which is the better injector, the ID's or the FIC's, I'm staying away from the DW injectors due to multiple friends having some sort of issues with them.

I got ID 1000's used for only 4k miles for 250.00. Keep an eye on the for sale threads, you can get some steals on those threads so you can both save money, and get bigger injectors!

You could get away with not having the regulator IF you drill out the fuel return with the proper size drill bit.

You should get the 1100's just so later down the road you don't have to buy injectors again.
I think this is bad advice. Sure you can drill out the return but how will you know what your resulting pressure is?? You would minmally need a gauge. You can get a rail that has a gauge port but why not just get a regulator as well.

Do it right, the first time.

Hence why I said you could GET AWAY with it. I didn't say its the optimal setup

well, to give the best answer to your question it really depends on your setup, with the size injectors you listed its probably best just to get a walbro 255 and just avoid getting the FPR. Also Ive been running DW 1000cc for more than a year and have had zero problems.. From my understanding the issues you speak of are with the old gen injectors.

And I noticed your from LI, Same here where at?
