So I got the new spring on the rear strut except now when i put it back into place, the bottom of the strut won't line up. No idea what to do to make it work. Any ideas?

Stupid question but did you try turning the strut?

unbolt your sway bar. what part of it doesn't line up? too high? low? or just simply off.
It is a PITA getting it reinserted. Make sure the strut is the right way as well.
i just installed my springs last week. stick a screw driver on the bottom hole of the strut and turn it to match the place you wanna insert it to. i first secured the strut to the 2 bolts. not all the way just enough not to fall down. hope i helped..i used my hammer to gently put it back to place.
The bottom of the strut isnt lined up with the top of the strut.
Um...WTF? The bottom of the strut isn't lined up with the top of the strut? Do you have pictures? Do you mean the spring perch on the top and middle aren't lined up? Did you install the spring the right way?

Pictures...that would help.

Thanks!
