Replacing battery -suggestions please

You people still running the stock Panasonic?
i've been told that the optima red top is a good replacement (not speaking from personal experience though, I'm still on stock)
Ive got the redtop right now. Thinking about trying the Oddysey battery next

Still running the Panasonic in both mine and the wife's cars.
37,000 km and 2 cold winters in and my stocker is still going good.
Hearing poor reviews of the Optima brand lately. Have one in the Jeep however and is excellent - older though.

Too cold around here for AMS battery unless I run it in the summer alone but am going to look for another battery for winter.
Been hearing the same about Optima lately. I wonder did they change owners or some shit?
Moved production to Mexico is the rumour I heard.
I mean does it really matter what brand battery you use as long as it has good CCA and RC rating?
There is another thread that had some good info about batteries. I don't remember what the outcome was, but I believe it had a few suggustions.
