I wanted to replace the yellowish OEM fog lights but couldn't decide on which ones to get. I wanted bulbs that produced a whiter light, yet looked stock in color and preferably were close to the OEM HID Kelvin rating. I also didn't want to take a chance on the common (and way over priced) ones with "Cosmic", "Plasma", "Ultra", "Krypton", or "Titanum" in the names. I'm not a fan of the excessive blue or purple tint that screams aftermarket and rice. Not to mention their higher output wattage to achieve their color and brightness that can cause serious issues with melted wiring and fuse headaches. Been there and done that 10 years ago.

So, what else to choose? Since I've converted nearly all the other bulbs with LED's I went with pair of H11 LEDs at first. After a bad experience in fitment and quality and not enough output to be useful anyhow, I decided to go back to halogen bulbs. It turns out that there are these bulbs made by Höen that many guys on the european luxury car forums seem to like. These Höen xenonmatch bulbs are designed to match the OEM HID's at a true 4K white light and they're reasonably priced. I've had these on the car now for a couple months with no issues. While not a 100% match, they're close enough for me. :D

Looks great, thinking about doing this myself
+1 on where you got em from!
looks pretty good... where did you get them?
plus 2 where you got them from? and 29.99 each or the set?
Thanks! I don't want to break forum rules by linking or providing company info since the makers of this bulb are not approved merchants here. That said, simply google "Höen xenonmatch". I got them for $29.99 for a set (2 bulbs in the box).

for 50 bucks you can get ddm hid kit with slim ballast....life time warranty also
Looking at their site they say "Our 55w HID Kit is not recommended for smaller fog light housings because they tend to concentrate a large amount of heat in a small area.". Having done an aftermarket HID kit install on my Supra in the past, I know that you'll need to spend some time to tuck wiring, then find a suitable area to mount the ballasts. Too much work for fog lights I just use on occasion. I just wanted some nice replacement bulbs, quickly do the swap and be done with it. ;)
