I just ordered the Rexpeed A Pillar Dual Pod... I know it is simply a cover but what specificically about it's design limits it to only a cover and not a full replacement? Has anyone tried to modify it to fit as a full OE replacement with success?

It's ridiculously thin. You'd have to bondo clips on it as well which would be enough to annoy me alone. And ontop of all of that, it's not great fitment even as a lay-over (I have one). Don't get me wrong, I love Rexpeed stuff, but realize you get what you pay for.

Rexpeed is the bottom of the bottom...good luck with fitment.
