Has anyone had Shep perform their final drive change on their trans? Are there any cons to it? Pros - being able to ride out 4th longer in the quarter, and staying at lower rmps while cruising on the highway.

theoretically, slightly slower acceleration due to the different gearing, but if your car is modded to the point where final drive enters your mind, that effect is probably negligible. I'd wonder about whether this affects the speedometer reading at all, since some speedometers work off a sensor in the transmission and others might use wheel speed sensors.

Buschur tested a final drive change a while back. Results were not good. I believe the thread is on evom.
Yep, he actually ran much slower times than bouncing off the rev limiter how he was before because the gears were too long and he dropped out of boost between shifts.
