As the title states yea it happened unfortunately i didn't check the cam bolts when i pulled them turns out they were stretched to shit...I've drilled it and tapped it placed a helicoil in place will it hold or do i need a new head, i don't have a lot of money as i've just spent all my savings on recoing the motor and upgraded the turbo any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks guys

Several people have used helicoil or timeserts without issue. You just want to make sure they are installed properly, and that you clean up all the debris from drilling/ installing the new inserts.

Thank you so much I'll definitely make sure everything is good to go also should I use red locktite as reassurance on the helicoi?
