So I was driving today on the highway and when I hit 100km/h my steering wheel started shaking.

I am going to assume this has to do with either wheel alignment or balancing (Mitsu put new TOYO Winters on my car not even two months ago).

How much is this going to cost me?

Also.. I ran over a condensed piece of mud (probably full of ice) and after that I think is when it started. Everytime I turn my wheel at high speeds I hear a noise (not sure if its built up mud on my mudflaps or what).

If its vibrations and only happening at a certain speed.....its most likely balancing. Down here, it costs about 15 bucks per wheel to balance. Maybe a wheel balancing weight fell off?

Thats what I am thinking also, because my car doesn't pull left or right. I am going to take the hubcaps off my car and take a closer look at the tires, see if I can see any weights missing.

might be able to get them to re-balance them for free just by going back and stating the issue

Thats what I am thinking also, because my car doesn't pull left or right. I am going to take the hubcaps off my car and take a closer look at the tires, see if I can see any weights missing.

I had this happen, only after it snowed. Entire car was shaking furiously at around hwy speeds, would get worse as speed increased. I pulled over to inspect all the wheels/tires and saw this chunk of ice that had frozen on the inside of one my my wheels. Kicked it off and the car drive perfectly fine after that. Its happened a few times this winter and its always ice/snow that froze to the inside of my wheels.

^If thats not it, then re-balance wheels like previously stated.

Yup....that'll throw off the balance too.

If you have aftermarket rims and no hub-centric rings this may also be the culprit.

One of your hubcaps might be broken. Could also be a crackhead that got hold of the wrong stuff.
