Anyone know what the weight of the stock front seats are?

By that I mean put on a scale and weighed them.

I'm doing some seat shopping and I know the stock seats are wicked comfy, but if they are heavy they will not do.

I know the 8/9 seats have been weighed in at 28lbs with brackets/mounts.

They are pretty heavy fellow Blaineite (or former I guess) as they have all the airbags I think in them. I believe they are like 40lbs or something crazy. I think there is a weight savings thread that has the weight. I'll see if I can find it and link it.

From my search its worse than I thought, looks like 51lbs for seat and rail, that is each front seat.

He said the passenger seat is 48lbs, so figure 40ish for the driver seat.

around 50 lbs driver seat and the passenger side is heavier. ill weigh and double check when i get home

Evogina, (awesome name btw) I would really appreciate it.

DSM seats weigh in at about 50lbs, and I'm trying to stay away from getting a fixed seat although I am really tempted to try it out.

I would be pulling off the airbags of course and anything else not needed, but I know the airbags aren't going to be 20lbs. (Murlo I'm still in blaine!)

You can't pull the airbags unless you are going to re-upholster the seats.

They really feel heavy when you replace them with bucket seats.
