Just test drove the new EVO MR thinking of trading my 07 STi.

Loved the car felt much more planted that the STi, handeling is light years ahead as is the streeing which is very crisp with lots of feed back. However wasn't that impressed with its performance.

The dury is still out. My question is can I fit a tow hitch to it as I need to haul my Caterham around to the track.

Your should not tow with a turboed car. It says in the manul that if you tow with it you will void the warranty.

ok i had an 06 sti and ill tell you that the trans and clutch is a lot stonger and the sti has better low end tq cause of the 2.5l witch is a lot better for towing. the evo will not like towing at all and you will go though clutches like crasy.

Sorry meant GSR, I think your right about towing the STi with all its faults is a great tow car.
