5% on the rear window
20% on the back two
50% (legal) on the front two

MR Rims and Nav next.

And to all you X haters... lick 'em. I see a IX coming up from behind me and I give you the :rock:, you give me a :rolleyes:. You would hate the X less if you owned one.

I love both the IX and the X. Yet the IX owners love only their own. They already own the IX, therefore out of insecurity they must protect what they own by slamming what they dont.

the 5% looks really good on the back. Just get 5% all around and say you are a limo driver lol. I used to be an EMT and was told by local cops that they dont care about 5% tints as long as u roll down the window when they pull next to you. Its illegal for safety reasons as cops cant see if you have a gun or not. But then again those were cool cops and most cops are a-holes and especially driving a hot car like this will pull you over for anything. Looks really good!!

... you should of just bought the MR. The bbs rims are 6 grand alone, I am told. :shades:

For me I dont think the MR rim look all that great at all. Yes it nice that they are Forged
and Are made by BBS, to me its just a brand name. For 6k, or even if they are 3k
you can get better looking aftermarket rims for that price.

Tint sure does look really good. The only thing that has stop me from getting them is Tint shop not doing it right, or scratches later on. I wish they came OEM tinted Darker
like my 07 Honda CRV in back. I dont mind paying the extra cost, IF the glass was tinted much darker OEM.

There will be some used ones for sale. heck in NZ I just saw some for sale for $2000 NZ dollars. You will find deals if you buy off MR owners that are doing something else with their wheels.

BTW.. nice tints!!

The people that hate on you cause of your X are just doing it cause they are pissed they don't have one. I know cause I do it too :( lol....but only cause there is just one in my town right now, and the owner is a 19 year old rich kid and he drives it like an lunatic.

But your X looks gorgeous with that tint! IMO tint makes any car look way better.

There is a brand new paved road by my house that is for a new development of houses that hasnt started yet. The road has two very sharp turns and one long sweeping turn. We took the VIII to the "course," then we took the X, then we took the VIII, then the X. All night long last night. The VIII definitely feels more raw racecarish. The X grips better and I can definitely push the limits harder in the X without screaching the tires. Raw vs smooth. Both very fun.

As soon as I stepped out of the X the first time I test drove it I didnt think it handled as tight as the VIII that I had driven two years earlier. I stand corrected. The X definitely handles better. Take out both a VIII/IX and a X, and when you are driving through 25 - 30mph areas just whip the car around the corners at the last second. Not accelerating or anything, just throwing the steering wheel as sharp and abruptly as possible... The X wins. It has a feeling of follow through as it completes the turn that makes me feel like I am in a supercar.

I know that there has been a million reviews comparing the two already.... I just wanted to voice me opinion since I had so much side-by-side comparison time last night. The VIII is more exhilerating. The X feels like a better car, period.

I want to upgrade the suspension and power of my car so that I can come closer to the best of both worlds. I want my turbo to pull like my friends VIII does...
